Why did you choose to go to Wroclaw, Poland?

It wasn't my original choice to come to Wroclaw, but in the end i do not regret my decision. I was interested in polish culture and history.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

One year - two semesters. I don't fell comfortable speaking about my financial situation.

What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?

In one word - Excellent. The city is beautiful and clean, there is a lot of choice for enterntainment, living costs are low.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Wroclaw to other students?

Yes, every time.

What is the food like?

I was expecting more from the polish cusine, but they are not that bad at cooking.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Wroclaw?

No, i got to stay at one of the dormitories.

How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?

I would say it's possible to go on with 450 euros per month, but private housing is way more expensive and in that case maybe an extra 100 euros will do the job.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me it was quite easy since i come from a slavic country, but i found that for students who come from more western countries it is a bit dificult but not that much.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Wroclaw from your city?

There is no direct line, but a plane to Berlin and bus from there to Wroclaw is the best one.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Wroclaw?

If you are looking for clubs - xDemon is the place to go. There are also many pubs to go to but i really can't recommend any of them.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Wroclaw?

Unfortunatly no, i rearly went to restaurants in Wroclaw.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Believe me the whole city is worth to visit, but you do have nice catherdrals, old buildings and the islands are beautifull.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Wroclaw in the future?

Choose Wroclaw, you will not regret it, trust me.
