Why did you choose to go to Wroclaw, Poland?
Because it is a cheap country, where you could pass your exams easily and there are pretty women also.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
10 month. About 2500 Euros for 10 month
What is the student lifestyle like in Wroclaw?
It is hard to describe. SImply incredible, there are many things to do and places to go. The city center is incredible you have some lakes their to chill, malls, etc.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Wroclaw to other students?
Yes, I would. Definetely.
What is the food like?
For me it was more or less OK, but it has nothing to do with the gastronomy of Spain for example. Fast food and not so healthy stuff, but good food.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Wroclaw?
More or less. To find a good one is not so easy and for the general price level of Poland the rent is quite high.
How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?
It depends on the things you do, but as an Erasmus student you should be quite active so I would say one month in Wroclaw without making trips about 350-450 Euros.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The language is like Chinese, hard to learn and impossible to understand. There are language courses in the university.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Wroclaw from your city?
By plane for sure. Ryanair rules!
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Wroclaw?
Monday Alibi, the rest of the days the partyzone of Wroclaw there you have quite a lot clubs and pubs. Mundo, Honey Bunny and in Rynek places like Daytona, Cherry club, Domovka...
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Wroclaw?
Pierogarnie in Rynek. Nynek(Kebab) close to the clubs. Dominium in Rynek and the best for sure is Kurna Chatka(the cheese soup is a must)
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Many things but I am bad describing them. Have a look at the university of Rynek and Halas Stulekia...
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Wroclaw in the future?
Enjoy each day like the last of your Erasmus, have fun and enjoy your time.
