Erasmus experience in Wroclaw, Poland
Why did you decide to go to Wroclaw, Poland?
These Polish are unbelievable that's why they made me fall in love with them. You shouldn't like the country only for its roads, architecture or museums, the most important thing is to get to know the local culture... I have never felt that good anywhere in Europe like I did Poland.
How long was your scholarship? How much money did you receive?
I am not an Erasmus student here, I am doing my Erasmus in Germany, I ran away to Wroclaw.
How is the student life in Wroclaw?
Party, music, vodka, przepitka! Sometimes classes.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Warsaw to other students?
Definitely yes.
How was the food?
Never mind food, if food is your priority, don't go there, you are an idiot. Anyway, what I wanted to say: it was good.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in Wroclaw?
A person that I met at a party let me his room.
How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?
It's cheap.
How was the language? Were there language courses offered at the University?
No, if possible, learn English, it will be very helpful.
What is the easiest and most economical way to go to Wroclaw from your city?
Hitch-hiking.
Which places would you recommend for going out in Wroclaw?
Go out, join different Erasmus groups.
Which restaurants do you recommend?
McDonalds.
Which places are worth seeing?
Drinking Island.
What advice would you give to future students going to Wroclaw?
Have fun and enjoy Poland!
