Why did you decide to go to Wroclaw in Poland?
I wanted to discover a new culture
How long did your bursary last for? How much help did you receive?
The bursary lasts as long as you stay and it finishes when you leave. I received a mobility bursary of 400 euros per month
How is the student life in Wroclaw?
It's great, fun and magical! It's a student city so you're never bored
Would you recommend the city and University of Wroclaw to other students?
Yes! It's a city you should visit at least once
How is the food in the city?
I'm not a huge fan of the food but I do recommend the Dumplings
Did you have any difficulties finding accommodation in Wroclaw?
Not at all, before I arrived I signed up for student accommodation. I put my name down for OLOWEK or KREDKA.
How much does it cost to live in Wroclaw?
Including accommodation, food and going out, you can easily get by with 300 euros a month
Is it easy to understand the language? Were you on a language course organised by the university?
At the beginning of term, the university gave us the opportunity to take Polish classes so we were able to say things like, hello, thank you, goodbye, please etc.
What is the cheapest way to get from your city to Wroclaw?
Airplane
Where would you recommend going partying in Wroclaw?
Akademia, a club with 100% students
And eating in Wroclaw? Where are your favourite places to go?
I don't have any favourite places.. because this is an amazing and rich city, it's best to see everything and decide for yourself

Panorama of Raclawice which tells you about the history of the city
What advice would you give to students moving to Wroclaw in the future?
It's hard to be far away from your family and it's very important to be brave when coming to a city where you don't know anyone, but it's a risk you have to take. I did it and I wasn't disappointed at all! I have amazing memories. There's no need to prepare for it too much, because you can find absolutely everything here!
