Why did you choose to go to Verona, Italy?

My university have a deal with University of Verona.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It's from 17 March to 30 May, and then it is for one month for exams. I receive 400 euro for month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Verona?

I prefer sightseeing than "student lifestyle", but there is organisation which organise some trip and party.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Verona to other students?

Yes, it a very nice university, some courses it was too hard for me, but I changed it. The city is beautiful, people are very nice.

What is the food like?

Amazing, it is Italy!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Verona?

No, I live in hall of residence.

How much does it cost to live in Verona?

Accommodation - 190 euro, food - about 100 - 200 euro, it depends, traveling is expensive.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are courses in English - economy and math, and English literature I think. And we have italiano course, it is very nice, not very hard.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Verona from your city?

Bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Verona?

I don't know.

Very good ice-cream are in Pretto (Piazza Bra).

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Arena, House of Juliet, Castelvecchio.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Verona in the future?

Go to the mountains, it is very nice. INS - the cheapest supermarket in Verona. If you are going to live in the hall of residence take with you sleeping bag, it is very cold in winter, and they gave us only two blankets, it is not enough, also take the covers.
