Why did you choose to go to Valladolid, Spain?

No other interesting option at my university.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

4 months. 400 euro per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Valladolid?

Here there are a lot of students from different countries. I can't describe exactly lifestyle here. Spanish students get used to Erasmus people.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Valladolid to other students?

University of Valladolid is really good. The city is not as good as UVa.

What is the food like?

The food there is really tasty. I recommend tapas bar in Calle Industrias.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Valladolid?

No, there wasn't any problem with it. UVa helps with accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Valladolid?

Valladolid is one of the cheapest towns in Spain. Life there is good for students.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, UVa organizes some courses. But the best way is a course in La Escuela Oficial de Idiomas.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Valladolid from your city?

Plane to Madrid and then train or bus to Valladolid.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Valladolid?

I don't like the nightlife.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Valladolid?

Bar de tapas in Calle Industrias, close to plaza Circular.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

A lot of museums: "Casa de Cervantes" etc.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Valladolid in the future?

In winter it is very cold. You need to take warm clothes.
