Why did you choose to go to Valladolid, Spain?

Because it was the only city that my university has to offer as an exchange in Spain.

How long are you staying there for? What is the amount of grants you receive?

6 months. For the money I have received 600 euros from Erasmus and 1200 euros from my region.

What is the student life like in Valladolid?

Very good. Although we get to know of course the Erasmus student atmosphere: it is less easy to get to know the local student life.

Would you recommend the city and the university of Valladolid to other students?

The university of Valladolid (Sciences) is very good, especially the coaching by the professors The city is small and nice but not exceptional.

What is the food like in this country?

Good when you find a good tapas restaurant (Jero close to the Plaza Mayor is excellent! ).

Did you have any difficulties finding accommodation in Valladolid?

No, it is very easy to find accommodation in a flatshare.

What is the cost of living in Valladolid?

160 euros for accommodation and after that the normal costs of living.

What was it like to learn the language? Did you go to any classes organised by the university?

Yes, at the start to have a certified level.

What is the cheapest way to get to Valladolid from your city?

By plane, booking well in advance.
