What is it like to live in Utrecht? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Utrecht is a nice city to live in. It is quieter and less touristy than Amsterdam. If you go out here, there is a great chance you will meet the same people as the night before. All in all, it is a cozy and nice student city.
How much does it cost to live in Utrecht?
Rent costs me 435 euros, and beside that I spend about 400 euros per month. You can also find rooms for 250 euros but below that you won't really find anything.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Utrecht? Are there other things you'd like to say?
Yes, it's not easy to find a room. Most rooms can be found through friends and their friends. So, if you know someone in Utrecht, use him/her to ask for rooms.
How are the restaurants in Utrecht? Can you tell us your favorite places?
Go to 'T gras van de Buren. Really nice student café/bar/restaurant where you can dance and party on Fridays and Saturdays.
