Generally, what is University King Juan Carlos like?

It is my home university. The university counts with five campus located at Alcorcon, Aranjuez, Fuenlabrada, Mostoles and Vicalvaro-Madrid. I am located at campus Vicalvaro. Overall I think it is a great university.

What are the facilities like?

In my campus extremely modern. The library has to be my favourite building of all. It is what you consider a "small" campus, but I love it. It has a park with trees and grass and it is really nice. Ping pong tables and half a court of basketball also available. Very pretty in Autumn specially. It also has a cantina and a bar with very cheap prices.

What are the tutors like?

Really depends on what you get. I've had some of the best teachers in my life and others I am very disappointed with. I wish the good teachers were rewarded with the recognition they deserve, and not shadowed by the mediocre ones.

Are the lessons easy in University King Juan Carlos?

It depends. I find the maths extremely hard. But other classes very "easy". It really depends on the teacher. With a good teacher you won't care how hard it is or how much you have to study because you will be rewarded with that effort. Some teachers come and read off powerpoints and they are easy classes but do you really learn? Others they teach you and then make you practice what you are taught and you learn.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Hmm, they do. But not much attention is given in my opinion. They aren't well announced. And not a lot of activities.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Overall I say yes thanks to the good teachers I've had. I think there is a lot to learn from certain classes. However maybe for others the negatives outweigh the positives, and I can understand because it can be very frustrating.

Are there any stories you can share?

I really enjoy my university. I've met amazing people, I've learned a lot. And it is a beautiful campus. Try to befriend the good teachers, network, it will open you a lot of doors.
