Is Turku a good city to live in? Do you recommend it? How is the city
The city is very nice but only for one semester. I recommend it. In Finland cities are not that big, so if you can choose, I recommend either Helsinki or Turku.
How is the student life there?
Very good!
How is the cost of living?
It's very, very expensive.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Turku? Do you have any advise?
Not at all. You can find it via universities or through Facebook on groups like Fleamarket.
What places are nice to visit?
The castle, church and port.
When it comes to eating out in Turku, do you have any favourite places?
Hesburger is from Turku. But don't count on restaurants for food: it's too expensive.
Where would you recommend going for a party?
All the clubs are good!
Any other advise for students coming to Turku for their Erasmus?
Enjoy your stay and try to travel as much as you can: Lapland, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Saint Petersburg, Stockholm...
