What is it like to live in Turku? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Turku city is a very well planned and good city. And the most important thing about this city is that people speak good English with you and are willing to help you. The only thing is that you need to approach them and explain properly and they will help you, which is not very common about most of the cities. I would like to recommend strongly to visit this city and study here.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Turku? Is there any advice you can give?
Yes, it is a bit difficult to get a desired accommodation, but international center people help you find good accommodation. One advise on accommodation, contact the international office as soon as possible, so you do not have to wait for the desired accommodation.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
I used to visit restaurants that were near to the University, they were good and affordable.
What places would you recommend visiting in Turku?
Turku cathedral, Turku castle, city library, Turku university botanical garden.
Is it good to eat out in Turku? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
It is good to have food outside. Mainly on university road and central market place.
What advice would you give future students headed to Turku?
It is a very good city with good people. The University of Turku is very good, plan your studies in advance so that you can visit this city and study at one of the best universities in Europe.
