Why did you choose to go to Turin, Italy?

I have always loved Italy and Torino is one of biggest and most vibrant cities in this country.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship lasted 5 months, which was the amount of time I stayed there. I received 300€ per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Turin?

The student life is great, the city is super safe and there is always a party or an event somewhere.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Turin to other students?

Yes, of course. You only have to keep in mind that most teachers don't speak English, but Italian is easy to learn and they really help you with everything.

What is the food like?

It's typical Italian food. How can it get any better than that?

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Turin?

It's not easy but there are some associations that can help.

How much does it cost to live in Turin?

I would say it's not a very cheap place to live, but it isn't expensive either. Prices are very normal.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The university provides free Italian courses but the best way to learn it is at the linguistic Tandems and with local people.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Turin from your city?

The best way to move around the city is by bike. There is a network of public bikes that you can ride almost anywhere for 20€ a year. The bus is also a good option.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Turin?

San salvario.

Go to Camafá for the best pizza in town.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Turin has a lot of great museums you just check out.
