Wonderful visit to the lake and international Circus

It was an amazing day in the month of June, the weather was very warm announcing the spring, the opening of the amazing flowers and the flying butterflies. It was a day to discover a new city and live a new adventure that could enrich us more on the cultural level and allow us to know always more about the cities we travel to and the amazing counties full of treasures and great discoveries. My friends and I decided to discover a new city in the capital Tunis called the lake. As its sounds the city is famous by its amazing lake that is expanded on kilometres until the north urban region of the capital. The lake city is indeed a very fancy place located in the capital Tunis where we can find the most beautiful and expensive hotels in the capital. People also visit it for the cafes that have an astonishing and fabulous view on the lake that crosses the city and gives an amazing landscape to admire. I went with friends coming from Portugal to this place to show them what the city has to offer, the leisures activities and the great addresses we can find there for spending amazing evening and especially admiring the sunset there because it is very low land and a view of sunset in this place can be really one of the most beautiful in the world ever.

Discovering the Lake city

We went by a taxi for only 3 Tunisian dinars and we took it exactly from the heart of the capital Tunis near the big emblematic clock that characterise the beautiful capital. We went to discover the other part of the city and we were really happy excited and hoping for amazing and beautiful adventures in that superb landscape. People can choose as well the means of transportation by taking another type of taxis that is cheaper and have also the lake city as a final destination and offers a ride for 1,5 Tunisian dinar, it has just a special characteristic which is many people can also get inside this taxi as it has seven places, the people can have different destinations but the driver will just have 1,5 Tunisian dinars from each one and assure the driving to all the different destinations needed. Beside these taxis, there is no buses or metro that can reach the lake city, it is actually newly constructed and has a lot of amazing monuments and buildings to see.

The most amazing part is a long way of some kilometres that gives an amazing view in front of the lake, it is characterised by various cafes where we can have coffees, juice, tea or even delicious ice creams and other sugar desserts. The long way is also characterised by multiple palm trees that give a huge effect of a touristic place exactly like in Miami Beach in United States, the atmosphere of parties and amazing music can also be noticed while walking in this amazing way. There is also a shop that presents different prices for a trip inside the lake. They offer actually multiple tours in different small boats like those used to do kayak, or with water pedalo that people can ride and pilote alone and stay even half an hour to an hour pedalling inside the lake in an amazing way for only 20 dinars and, an amazing tour by canoe is also offered for two people that can experience this activity for the same price with much joy and delight. Actually these activities are very securised because water it not deep so even people that are afraid of water and that does not know how to swim, can try this amazing activity and experience much amazing and new sensations.

I suggested to my Portuguese friends to try a tour by pedalo and they accepted very well the invitation with warm heart and kind smiles. We went to try the pedalo and we laughed a lot and did many jokes because the level of water was not very deep so anyone could not really swim there, it could reach to half of our legs if we were standing inside water, but it was possible to ride the pedalo in these circumstances and it was really funny to joke about that as we had great fun and amazing moments together. Many families were also having a lot of fun in their kayak or in their little boat and they could discover the different aspects of the city by this small amazing trip.

Then we continued our walking in the main avenue of the lake and we found two big amusement parks that characterise the city, the first is newly constructed and is called Carthage Land Amusement Park Lake that is also equipped with an aquaparc that can not be found in any other place around the capital, and it looks alike the amusement park i previously visited in hamamet but this is a new one and another older one and cheaper called Dahdah destinated more for children. The cost for an entry to the park Carthage land lake that has of course more modern games than the other older park and that i recommended my friends to visit was not so much expensive only 30 Tunisian dinars to discover all the park and play with all the games until the park closes at 8 pm, so all the day is included but the small detail is that we cannot go out of the park otherwise we will need to pay another time to access he park again. This park offers many games such as a tour in the moving swimming pool by a boat that we can not pilote by ourselves and that is mainly moved by water currents and offers a whole trip around the park, inside caves and with some dragons, it was really amazing to try it and to feel amazing feelings while riding it, we could also watch a movie in the cinema like the pirates movie or the little animal one but with the technology 7d which is an amazing experience, the chairs where we were sitting while watching the movie were moving each time an event happened inside the movie, so if for example we saw a mouse running and jumping we could feel the chairs doing movements like jumping in the air, some sequences were about splashing water so we felt real water on our faces and we were laughing so much and found this experience really unique to try. There is another game where people feel like flying in the air at first then it goes in the bottom in the maximum speed it was also hilarious and one of the best I ever experienced because we really feel the time and space vanished, we fly really in the air and forget the laws of gravity, this experience really made us realize how it was important to have fun to release all our energy in the good things and that we still are very young in mind and spirit as well, we had also great fun by the various games proposed like the roller coaster and also enjoyed the climbing games that I personally like very much because they make people learn many values like patience and perseverance, great sense of leadership and amazing qualities and adventure spirit. This game is also very securised so even the little children can play with it but their age must between 12 and 15 years at least because it demands great attention and precision.

The second amusement park dahdah is destined more for the younger generation and mainly little children, it offers them a small roller coaster for kids in the shape of a dragon, also small swimming pool for some trips by a big boat inside the park, one of the best games children like in general in this park is the game of crashing cars and some water games also where they can also acquire many qualities like competitive spirit, amazing collective cooperation and god commutation skills that would create a better personality structure for the kid and an amazing way of handling the conflicts in the future. I could also notice inside this amazing park that even the grownups can also enjoy the games of the park by riding for example the big wheel game and experience a tour in the air for like twenty minutes while admiring the most beautiful landscape ever, people that like the strong sensations and adrenaline will be surely served by this kind of games that strengthen their heart and their mind and make them fearless towards any threat they could feel because they would be more educated on the spirit of competition and love for winning. We then went walking and discovering the luxurious hotels with a view on the lake also, this long walk shows amazing buildings and great residences where the most rich people reside because they know it is very calm place comparing to the crowded capital also they have their societies and business there and they even move the capital to the better buildings from the lake because the place is really worthy and beautiful, we could also see many embassies like France, Spain and USA in the lake city where people can prepare their visas and get ready for a new adventure and a new trip in the other part of the world.
The atmosphere is really amazing and festive with a lot of fun we could really experience many things in this area and there are ways to be entertained in various and different ways without the need of spending much money.

Visit to the circus and amazing sunset

When we were walking in the other part of the dahdah park, we could distinguish a big tent installed and we noticed it was the international Italian circus, we were very happy and joyful, and we wanted to buy tickets for this amazing show, the prices were also very affordable only 15 Tunisian dinars and the atmosphere was really amazing. We could hear from outside the music loud and the men talking already in the microphone to present all the squad that will present the different shows so we went with hurry inside the tent to have the first place and enjoy this wonderful event. The show began with an amazing clown that came to entertain kids especially and started to do jokes and play with them and offer them bright smiles on their faces. In the other hand an Italian family composed of two sisters and one brother came then to perform. The girls were so much great in their performances with a big circle in the air, they were turning around themselves in a wonderful way and doing much difficult acrobatics that i would never do, they had a very thin bodies and were able to do whatever they wanted with their bodies in the air, The brother then performed an amazing show by talking to people in different languages and by doing acrobatics in the air and by the balls thrown in the air that he could then catch in very speed way and in an incomparable agility.
A small pony was then introduced to people watching, he was thought very well to say hi while lowering his head to the public and to the crowd clapping to him and being amazed by his cute moves. He was doing amazing acrobatics jumping from a place to another and showing the most beautiful representation exactly like the shows I used to watch when I was a kid in television.
A little kid was also offering some flowers to the young ladies around in the public and he offered me one red flower that I was very happy to receive. The show was amazing the excitement was at the maximum levels and people were enjoying very much this spectacle with their children that were very happy discovering the animals around and wonderful festivities. I could really remember my childhood and how I was always wanting to go to the circus and enjoy a show or go to a stadium to see a handball game. But now as I am grown up, I could realise all my dreams I went to circus to stadiums and to many places all over the world that I never thought I could reach before, I met many interesting people and created new solid and amazing links with them.

Amazing sunset view on the edge of the lake

We finally went out the circus tent to discover one of the most amazing landscapes ever, the sun set on the edge of the lake. We could find an amazing coffee in very pretty location near the big wheel where we could enjoy seeing this natural masterpiece. The city is actually constructed on a low land and this particularity allowed us to see the sunset from far away but the sun was so clear so bright that we could see the last rays in a wonderful landscape where the pink colour mixed with the black night in a wonderful harmony. Nothing better that a cold drink or some ice creams offered by the shops of the big square was better in terms of admiring the place and the enjoying that special moment that made us free in our mind and imagination and we could really feel proud of being at that special place and in that exact time.

Travels offers to people the chance to fullfil their dreams, to fly in the sky and to have wings, to discover new culture and new ways of living. Travels are probably the best way for me to achieve many goals, my future, many activities that I could not really achieve in my country because of security issues like the entry to a stadium or to go by boat in a deserted part of the world. The north African cities are very securised now and there is nothing to worry about, people come from all over the world to admire this very beautiful place and discover its richness, its culture and its warm beaches. The price of one night in the hotel of the lake place is a bit expensive and may be not affordable by many people but they can have a room in a good hotel inside the capital for 25 euros the night then do trips around the capital like they want. The commercial center Central Park closes at mind night and can offer many amazing restaurants where people can discover the local varieties such as pasta, couscous, pizza. The Mediterranean gastronomy allows a better discovery of the vegetables and the fruits that can be mixed with other ingredients. The lake place finally offers an amazing walk also by night, we took other taxi and we went to another lake place called lake II that is freshly and newly constructed and offers also a bunch of amazing restaurants with a view on the lake and an amazing view with lights reflexion in water make the night be even more beautiful. The offer also a wide range of plates and can be a great destination to enjoy the cold air at nights.
