What is it like to live in Trieste? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The life here is very simple and calm.

What is the student lifestyle like in Trieste?

The student lifestyle is very good, there are lost of young people from all over the world so if you come here alone there is always someone who had the same problem as you and when you meet them they will help you.

How much does it cost to live in Trieste?

Trieste for me is very expensive city so if you don't have a scholarship it is very hard to live a normal life of one exchange student.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Trieste? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult to find an accommodation, there are lots of apartmans but it is cheaper to rent a room than a whole apartment.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

the food here is good, and at every corner you can find a good restaurant

Is it good to eat out in Trieste? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

it is good to eat in restaurants but for students is cheaper to eat in the student canteens where lunch costs 2 euros.

Is the nightlife good in Trieste? Where is good to go?

Nightlife in Trieste is normal, there are a lot of bars in the city center where young people go and hang out. Most young people are out there on Wednesday and Tuesday

What advice would you give future students heading to Trieste?

Do not be afraid and be prepared for an adventure of a lifetime.
