Toulouse is a really nice city to live in. I think it is the best city in France for students. I would recommend it to everyone. The metro is very useful for getting around the city. The many gardens are also very nice.

The student atmosphere is really good. It is very calm and zen. No one ever argues. It is a really relaxed city.

How much does it cost to live in Toulouse?

Living in Toulouse isn't ridiculously expensive, but at the same time it isn't free. By keeping an eye on your spending, you can easily go out there.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is perfect in Toulouse. Toulouse is renowned for its really good food and it's traditional dishes such as "le cassoulet" (slow-cooked meat casserole), which I really like. The best restaurants in France are in Toulouse!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I recommend going to the Daurade Quay which I think is an incredible place to visit. It is my favourite place and where I spend most of my time here. Go there, you won't be disappointed!

What's it like to eat out in Toulouse? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

"Le Régent" and "L'entrecôte" are the most popular restaurants in Toulouse. You can eat delicious traditional food there and it is really delicious.

Where would you recommend going on a night-out in Toulouse?

In the evening, it is really nice to go to the Place Saint-Pierre and the many bars there, especially when there's a rugby game on. The club L'Opium is also cool, and I think it's the best one in Toulouse.

What advice would you give to future students heading to Toulouse?

Come and unwind in Toulouse, you won't regret it! Toulouse is a city with lots of students. If you are even the slightest bit social, you'll like it here.
