Toulouse is a big city, it's very dynamic and never lacks energy!

There are a lot of students in the three big universities and the campus' are huge! The city doesn't lack anything and offers all the cultures, tastes and wishes!

What's the student atmosphere like in Toulouse?

Students go out from Thursday nights to Saturday nights, there are nightclubs for everyone, outdoor terraces (La Voile Blanche, L'Envol), bars at every street corner and squares (St Pierre), synonymous with Quartier Général for students! This square is a classic and all the students have already been there!

How much does life in Toulouse cost?

Transport is almost free, for €10 a month with the Pastel card it's possible to get around by unlimited Metro, bus and tram.

Food is relatively dear compared to other countries but you get used to it.

The most expensive thing is alcohol. The bars are "correct", but in nightclubs, it's almost robbery! Especially when you know the prices in Spain.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Toulouse? Do have any advice to give?

What's the food like in the city? What are your favourite dishes?

We eat well in France. You have the possibility to eat a wide variety and from every culture because Toulouse is a city populated by foreign people who live by the restaurant industry.

As in all major cities, you find McDonald's, kebab shops, Chinese restaurants, tapas bars...

What places do you recommend to see in Toulouse?

Le Jardin des Plantes, the city centre and its ancient districts, the architecture of St Rome street (between Capitole and Esquirol) for example.
