What is it like to live in Toulouse? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Toulouse is a beautiful and nice town. I spent one year over there and I had a good experience. People are nice. The weather is warm. I found good spots to eat. I definitely found nice little stores to buy shoes and clothes. It is a busy city but I didn't find the transports very easy. The metro is nice because it's open until late and very early but I walked most the time. A lot of students, especially on Tuesday night, go out for a drink or two.

A lot of parties are organized and not only during the weekend. You can meet a lot of other students. It is a young city.

How much does it cost to live in Toulouse?

Prices were affordable but it was hard to find an apartment. It is very busy. You have to keep looking and if you can anticipate your stay, start a couple months before you leave. You'll need those extra months to find a place to stay! Especially if you want your own place. You also have students room who are very affordable and near the university. They are very small though and for one person you cannot have roommates.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Toulouse? Is there any advice you can give?

The metro is easy to take. Cause there are only two lines, a and b. If you have a car you can park on the parking garage because it is hard to find a spot to park. I walked most of the time and it is nice to walk in Toulouse.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Good food and good breakfasts. My favorite spot was a pizza place but I can't remember the name. I think you can find good pizzas everywhere
