What is it like to live in Toulouse? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Beautiful city in the south west of France also called the "pink city" due to the materials used to built it centuries ago.

The old town is lovely and the shore of the Garonne River are always an amazing place to spend time alone or with friends especially on sunny summer days.

Toulouse is a university city which make it the place of a lot of parties. We also host festivals, cultural and sporting events and have Awesome restaurants!

Moreover the weather is really nice and our regional dishes and wines are just the best things ever!

What is the student lifestyle like in Toulouse?

Wake up, go to the university, hang out with friends, study or not, go for a drink, go shopping in the old town, go for a movie, enjoy the sun next to the river, and party!

How much does it cost to live in Toulouse?

Depends on the Life you wanna have but I used to live there for 700€/month (incl. accommodation, partying once a week, transports and grocery shopping )

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Toulouse? Is there any advice you can give?

It is hard but many people gives apartment for rental. Try to start looking for one early June to make sure you have an accommodation by the beginning of the semester.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Fave dish: confit de canard/homemade French fries. With sweet white wine..

What places would you recommend visiting in Toulouse?

The old town.

Is it good to eat out in Toulouse? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

A must try: the restaurant L'Entrecote. But be there early.. people are queuing in the street to get in.

All the bars on St. Pierre square and Jean Jaures avenue.

Experience the city and student life as much as you can! Feel it!
