Why did you choose to go to Toulouse, France?

To use the French that I have learned and to work in a laboratory internship.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My exchange was 4 months. I received $2000 overall scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Toulouse?

It is quite relaxed. Go to school during the days, go into town at night to socialize with friends.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Toulouse to other students?

Yes, Toulouse was a very fun city with a lot of places to check out and nice people.

What is the food like?

Food is very good, but can be expensive.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Toulouse?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Toulouse?

I pay 294 euros per month in rent. I probably spend another 100-125 euros per week on food and drinks.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I have a strong french language background and had little difficult adjusting with that. There are language courses offered by the schools.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Toulouse from your city?

Airplaine.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Toulouse?

Place de St. George or Pont St. Pierre.

A lot of the restaurants around Jean Jaures

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The churches. Also a short distance from Toulouse is Albi and Carcassone which are very good trips to make if you live here.
