Why did you choose to go to Toulouse, France?

Toulouse was one of the options at my university and I was never in the South of France.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship is for nine months, I got approximately 2100 Euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Toulouse?

There are many bars and restaurants in Toulouse, but many are a little bit expensive. But there are also a lot of events by Erasmus Groups.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Toulouse to other students?

Yes, I would definitely recommend it. The city is beautiful and has a lot of culture.

What is the food like?

Food is very good, there are many Kebab-Stores here, which are also very delicious.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Toulouse?

No, I didn't pay anything.

How much does it cost to live in Toulouse?

I pay 370, which is pretty normal. There are also many opportunities, such as the Caf, which help you with the rent.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, it is very easy. Even though there is a slight accent here. My university, Mirail/Jean Jaures, has language courses, but other universities don't have that many.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Toulouse from your city?

I flew from my city to Toulouse and paid 90 Euros, round-trip.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Toulouse?

I would go to the Café populaire, a very cool and hip bar.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Toulouse?

Le faim des haricots and the kebab stores.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Garonne and the city around it.
