What did you think of Toulouse? What was it like to live there? Would you recommend it?

It was really good living in the beautiful city of Toulouse; the people are really very nice, there's a lot of students, living costs and student discounts are good, the weather is tip-top, and I could find everything I needed. I really recommend going to Toulouse to study.

What is the student vibe like in Toulouse?

The student atmosphere is great; you become friends with students really quickly, and nights out in Toulouse are awesome. A really good atmosphere.

What are living costs like in Toulouse?

It's really cheap for students; there's lots of student discounts for example at the cinema, hairdressers, and especially transport.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Toulouse? Any advice?

I personally wouldn't recommend applying for student residence, but instead to go for somewhere in the city centre. You can find a really nice, cheap studio flat through private-owned landlords not companies, on websites like leboncoin.fr

What's the food in Toulouse like? What are your favourite dishes?

Just like all French cities, well at least in the South, the food is really good! In Toulouse you can find food from all over the world such as sushi, kebab, Indian, Libanese, etc.

What places do you recommend to go see in Toulouse?

The Capitole de Toulouse, la Basilique Saint-Sernin, the Garonne riverbanks, but above all, walking down the little streets in the Carmes area. Also, there's an amazing view of the whole city on top of the Pech David hill.

And to eat in Toulouse? Can you tell us your favourite places?

McDonald's.

Where would you recommend to go out in Toulouse?

St Pierre, la rue Gabriel Perri, La Tantina and Le Borriquito.
