Is it difficult to find accommodation in Tokyo? Is there any advice you can give?

The majority of Japanese students those who are away from their family are living alone, not sharing a flat with someone. flat sharing is not so common. (though it's changing these days. ) So I recommend to find a student dormitory, or share a flat with other international students.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

We have many fast food shops. these are not only Mcdonald but also japanese traditional fast foods, like 'Gyudon'(cooked beef with rice in a bowl) or rolling sushi, 'Rahmen'(noodles in soup). I like those foods as well as home-made dishes.

What advice would you give future students heading to Tokyo?

To get into the culture, first of all it's nice to see japanese young and old from distance because we are a bit shy. But we are curious and welcome you in heart. so it's better to talk to them with your politeness to make their hearts opened.
