What is it like to live in Tokyo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

In Tokyo we have useful transport, especially train. But it's a little bit complicated to use even for Japanese people.

Our city is always clean and safe anywhere. If you live downtown, you can go easily to center of the city. And also there are many stores open 24 hours.

What is the student lifestyle like in Tokyo?

Many Japanese students have a part time job after school and go out to drink with friends to a kind of Japanese bar called "izakaya".

How much does it cost to live in Tokyo?

It depends on where you live. But it's expensive at the center and near stations.

I recommend you live downtown.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Tokyo? Is there any advice you can give?

In Japan, we don't have a custom like sharing flat. So it could be difficult to find this type of house.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are several types of restaurant. Japanese, Italian, Chinese... A lot of cafe, Chinese noodle, curry house, Thai food, Brazilian food and so on!

What places would you recommend visiting in Tokyo?

Harajuku, Meiji jingu, Tokyo tower, Kabuki-za.
