One night in Tartu
It was a normal evening in Tallinn. I was drinking a tea with a good Hungarian friend when suddenly, I received an SMS: "at 21. 00 there is a bus to Tartu, are you coming? ".
Previously, three friends of mine and I had decided to spend a night in Tartu, just a night. However, after the initial excitement I realized it was a crazy idea and my emotion started to decrease.
So, in the tea moment when I received the SMS I looked at my friend and she asked: "Are you going? ". I answered: "I don´t know... If I go I have to leave almost now... ". But then she exclaimed: "Don´t worry! Go! Just go! And tell me everything tomorrow! ".
So, basically, we finished our teas and we left. She went to her room and I ran toward the bus station where my friends were waiting.
We entered in the bus and we sat down. The first movement was to try to eat something, but the activity of the bus caused us some problems... And more that eating us our food, it was the bus who did it. After our "delicious" dinner we decided to start the party.
Necessary elements for a "bus party":
- Food.
- "Trivial Pursuit app" on the Iphone.
- Italian people failing the Vaticano´s answer.
- Vana Tallinn
- Beer
- Italians winning the Trivial game to Portuguese and Spanish people.
It was a really fun bus trip! But the best part of the night was about to start.
Once we arrived to Tartu we went directly to our friends´ dormitory. What we did not know was the surprise we were gonna find there: A roulette! .
After our private party in the dormitory we decided to go outside and to find some club or disco where they were ready to receive us. And... We found it! And you know what? There were more Erasmus in it! But not normal Erasmus. I found some friends of mine inside the bar!
So, you all can imagine how much we enjoyed that night... It was magical: the Dj loved us, there were many youth in the same bar, we met new people, Tartu´s Erasmus were really nice with us... But the joy lasted until the bar closed, after it we had to go to the bus station again (previously we tried to have breakfast somewhere and we discovered that there are fans of Kaká everywhere), and at 6am waiting for a bus in the snowed and cold Estonian winter morning can be a bit hard.
A part from the "one hour waiting for the bus" moment, which was tough and fun at the same time, the rest of our "one night in Tartu" was unbelievable.
