How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Used to be 280 EUR/month for 6 months, now is more than 300 EUR.

What is the student lifestyle like in Tartu?

Superb.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Tartu to other students?

Yep.

What is the food like?

Nice, but one has to know where to eat. This comes by itself after around two weeks.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Tartu?

Nope.

How much does it cost to live in Tartu?

Depends, for me it was 350 EUR/month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

They offer courses but the language itself is extremely hard.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Tartu from your city?

With Ecolines bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Tartu?

Club Illusion.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Tartu?

  • Metro
  • Hesburger
  • Ruuni Pizza.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The observatory, lots of museums.
