Monument als Castellers

People usually want to reach higher levels in their life and this statue represents that desire best of all.It is an activity that is performed during the week of Santa Tecla every year. This year I saw and enjoyed it. The participants tried not to fall, not to hurt the others, but by the help of them they did their best to win. It is important to mention that if they want to win they have to be united. People hold on their shoulders the others to go up. I think they always keep in their mind the following quotation; ¨All for one and one for all, united we stand divided we fall¨.

This statue is one of the best known places of entertainment in this small but interesting city.Next to the statue one can see musicians playing and a screaming baby who supports his favourite group.

I am grateful to everybody who participated at the creating both human castles-to entertain people and constructors-to make people enjoy one of the best places in Tarragona.

Finally I understood the meaning of that monument...

I wasn't goint to until I read about it from someone who wrote about it here in the website. The article made me really sad as I won't be able to enjoy that experiance and also really got me curious to try it.

Anyways that area is amazing... and also people in Tarragona are kind (until now) as I've been here for only 4 days and plan to stay for about 3 months..
