Club Hollywood

Partying in Tallinn was always an adventure. It did not matter the weather, if it was cold or not, not even the season of the year, the only important thing in Tallinn´s night was to be ready to have fun.

We used to make something every night, it could be a simple dinner in any of our appartments, it could be to go out to drink a cider/beer or it could also be to go to Nimeta for a while (I talked about that bar previously). But the real party started always on Wednesday.

Wednesday´s nights were the "Ladies Night"! The party took place in Hollywood disco, it is located at Vana-Posti 8 (in the middle of the downtown), the entrance was free for the ladies and it costed 150 kroons for the boys (now they have euros, so maybe they have changed the prices of the tickets). "Ladies night" was amazing, it was always full of cool people who wanted to have fun and to dance until the morning light (when there was morning light, I mean, not in winter time).

It was also common to find foreign people who came just to enjoy that party.

The disco was not too big compared to the discos in Spain, but it was large enough to have the main ballroom, the smoking area, the big toilets, the VIP area and the entrance room. They also had cloakroom, so by paying a small amount of money you could let your coat on it and forget about it for the rest of the night.

Another good thing of the disco was the variety of drinks that you could try, from a normal coke to elaborated cocktails. Be careful! You can use your credit card to pay the drinks.

Apart from the "ladies night", Hollywood was a nice disco with a wide variety of musical styles, you could enter and dance Drum´n´Bass, or to find a house session.

So my recomendation for knowing the real Tallinn night is to start on Wednesday at the "Ladies night" party.
