What is it like to live in Szeged? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would definitely recommend living in Szeged. This city can be peaceful but vivid as well. If rush and "hurry" attracts you then choose to live in the centre of the city (from where you can reach almost everything quickly and easily), but if you prefer to live in silence and peace, then you can also find your place there.

What is the student lifestyle like in Szeged?

Absolutely good. A lot of students come from different backgrounds and places. The teachers are kind and helpful (or who I know are helpful and amazing) and the building of the TIK is a good place to study.

How much does it cost to live in Szeged?

You can find cheap apartments (depending on the location and the number of students sharing the flat), and there are those bistros or smaller restaurants which offer great food for a small amount of money.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Szeged? Is there any advice you can give?

My advice is to join some Facebook pages just like Szegedi Albérlet where people can help you find accommodation. Also make sure who you want to share your flat with.

It depends on where you buy your food (or whether you make your own dish).

What places would you recommend visiting in Szeged?

Kárász street, Dóm Square, the building of the TIK and the pubs around it. Also the REÖK Palota is amazing and the Móra Ferenc Museum.

JATE club but there are a lot of places to go.
