Why did you choose to go to Szeged, Hungary?

I always look for the best deal. The ratio of price of medical study to quality of study is high in Hungary. Generally, there wasn't any better place to go.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I don't have scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Szeged?

Fun and filled with activites. Amazing events are organised by international and local students. And finally, everyone is friendly and helpful in Szeged.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Szeged to other students?

For medicine or dentistry, hell yeah!

What is the food like?

It's been 4 months since I came here, but unfortunately I didn't try any of the authentic local food yet. I always eat at, KFC, McDO, Burger King, Thai Wok, Taj Mahal and Troja.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Szeged?

No, it's free for 1st year student. The university will help and assist you, by showing different apartments they know of. Just be careful, not to hurry in choosing any apartment on the first visit tour they'll be taking you too, because most of the time, they won't show you all the apartments which fits your criterium on the first day itself.

How much does it cost to live in Szeged?

It depends, but it is surely cheaper than any other western and northern European countries. For e. g you can get a 35 square metres apartment fully furnished, with washing machine and everything, in the city centre for a monthly rent for only 60 000 HUF.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No, Hungarian language is not easy at all: Beware! Yeah even if you have language courses at university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Szeged from your city?

It depends. If you are alone and its your first time, take a taxi and once you are used to that, you can take trains.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Szeged?

Jate club.
