What is the student lifestyle like in Szeged?
Szeged it's a quiet city with many students. Also they have a lot of festivals going on.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Szeged to other students?
Yes.
What is the food like?
Great. A lot of meat and fish
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Szeged?
No. The university arranged it.
How much does it cost to live in Szeged?
It depends on the house and extra costs. Food is fairly cheap.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
No it's a very different language from any latin based. There are available courses in the university
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Szeged from your city?
Airplane. Wizz Air is a cheap hungarian company and it's very practical
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Szeged?
There are only few clubs -like retro- and there are not many things to do typically on a night out as coffees and such close fairly early.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Szeged?
I like John Bull Pub but it's considered from the most expensive. There's also the pizza and pasta place near the famous Acapella confectionary which is pretty good
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
There are some museums but I have not visited any.
