Why did you choose to go to Szeged, Hungary?

Szeged is full of University students, therefore there are lots of events organized for them.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

1 year, Hungary is quite cheap, it is really possible to leave there fine from 500 euro.

What is the student lifestyle like in Szeged?

There are lots of events, mostly parties organized by the differente departments of the university. Is it impossible to be bored there.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Szeged to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

The Hugarian food is normally more spicy than the Spanish food. Fish is not really typical but there are lots of type of meats prepared in lseveral ways. Also, the Hungarian gastronomy owns lots of type of soups. The one of the most famous foods it the Gulyás (Gulash in Spanish..).

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Szeged?

The Eramus associate helps the students to find accomodation. There are lots of offers and this associate already has contacts of house owners who has had before erasmus student rent his house.

How much does it cost to live in Szeged?

Let´s say 500 euro, but it´s important to mention that the Hungarian average salary is about 420-450 eur.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

In Hungarian Universities, all profesors, almost all students, and in the city almost everybody is speaking in English, and also, in Szeged the courses are made only for Erasmus students (of course in English). there is also an option to take Hungarian courses.There will not be a problem to buy food inthe supermarket or a beer in the party place :)

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Szeged from your city?

From Almeria for example, the best way to get there by plane from Madrid to Budapest. Then get a train from Nyugati station to Szeged station (2,5 hours). Link to check the schedule of trains: elvira.hu

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Szeged?

To Jate or Zacc or Sing sing

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Szeged?

Matuzsálem (in the center) or Göry 10 mins frmo the center. In Göry, you get a very very big quantity of food for good prise, and it is delicious! There are lots of italian restaurants as well (for example: Forza Italia)
