Erasmus experience in Szeged, Hungary
Why did you choose to go to Szeged, Hungary?
I didn't have much of a choice!
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Back then it lasted 6 months and the scholarship was around 600€.
What is the student lifestyle like in Szeged?
Very good! Nice students clubs and plenty of activities for Erasmus.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Szeged to other students?
Definitely.
What is the food like?
Spicy!
How did you find your accommodation?
Newspapers and with the help from the Erasmus office.
What are the accommodation prices like? What are prices like for other things in general?
Accessible.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I did, but it was quite useless due to my poor language skills.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Szeged from your city?
Fly to Budapest and take the train down there.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Szeged?
Sing-Sing, Gin Tonic, Sor kertes, JATE klub.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Szeged?
Anywhere.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
It is quite small.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Szeged in the future?

its great but i think u wont check our cultural things. museum, exhibicions, our old buldings, the place of excavation, churches....im from szeged& now im learn in Spain with erasmus. One mistake .The place name is sorkert, not sorkertes. but i also like that place;) besos xx
