Unfortunately, I have no night life lol but there are lots of Hungarian festivals and the student union organises lots of parties/socials, you won't get bored.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Szeged?

Unfortunately no, good chinese restaurants are around but Gumbo cafe and Troja are always cheap and have good tasty food on the go.

Lots, the city has very beautiful architecture. I recommend starting with Dom Ter.

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Szeged?

New dean is very open to improving the university, and there are lots to be improved on. But compared to any UK university it's at an acceptable level. You won't be disadvantaged from studying here. Be prepared for an anatomy storm though, lots of materials covered in first semester.
