What is it like to live in Shanghai? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Shanghai is a typical modern Chinese city which means you can see the nearest 30 years development of China here totally in one place. A Street, half ancient half contemporary, back of which the very modern part almost show the future days. People live fast eat fast work fast.. if you like that speed you will sure enjoy the city.

What is the student lifestyle like in Shanghai?

Being a sociable student and you will get the opportunity to know many people around the Whole world in Shanghai. It offers you that style of delicate life of chinese people from the South. And also it's quite international that it's really friendly to foreigners.

How much does it cost to live in Shanghai?

Quite expensive if you want to live well. Anyway like almost any city there around the world.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Shanghai? Is there any advice you can give?

Many universities offer dormitory for students, almost everyone. So if you are a student, you don't need to find accommodation by yourself.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Tipical shanghainese food has a flavor of sweet. I love almost everything there in Shanghai. Go explore and don't be afraid to try they provide local food as well as food from all over the world.

What places would you recommend visiting in Shanghai?

My favourite is the region of Shanghai French concession where you can enjoy walking and nice bars. And the part of LuJiaZui is also good for sightseeing especially in the night.

Is it good to eat out in Shanghai? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Well I may say yes but that really depends on your habit of eating and where you live I think.
