What is it like to live in Sassari? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Sassari is a charming city in North of Sardinia, there's lot of students, is cheaper and is close to the most beautifull sea of the Mediterranean. People are very nice with strangers and the weather in Springs and in Summer is lovely, lot of sun everyday. Hope you will have a great experience , enjoy it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sassari?

Nice, not bad at all

How much does it cost to live in Sassari?

Life in Sassari is cheaper than lot of other european cities, price for a room are the minimum 150 and the max is 250/270. Food and beverage also are cheap

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sassari? Is there any advice you can give?

No is not difficult , there's lot of flat rent for students, you can check out on the internet(subito.it) or in the Universities hall. Ovviously the best time for search a room is at the end or before the begging of academic year (August-September).

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There's lot of tipical Sardinia's foods and beverage; meat, cheese, vegetables, wine..

What places would you recommend visiting in Sassari?

The center of the city, the old part of the city, the village clise to Sassari , but i suggest to visit all Sardinia, because transport are not very expensive and you must see all the Island, from North to south. Trekking, beaches, archeologic places etc..

What advice would you give future students heading to Sassari?
