Why did you choose to go to Sassari, Italy?

Because I’ve a lot friends from here also Veterinary Faculty of Sassari is one of the best faculty in Italy it’s perfect for my career.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Just for one month and I took 600€ from my university.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sassari?

It’s not a big city so social life for students it’s not like other big italian cities.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Sassari to other students?

Of course.

What is the food like?

Traditional foods of Sardinia is good but traditional foods of sassari unfortunately not good at all.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Sassari?

Unfortunately yes it’s too expensive especially for Turkish students and other non European countries which currency less than euro

How much does it cost to live in Sassari?

For a day I spent maximum 10 euro.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Before come to Italy I went to italian course in Turkey so I was almost A2 level so it was not a big deal for me.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Sassari from your city?

Firstly Turkish student should take a flight from Istanbul to Rome,Milano or Bologna and then take another flight to Alghero and then with a rent a car or taxi you can reach Sassari it was almost 25 kilometres.This is the only and economical way.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Sassari?

You can go pubs and clubs around the Piazza Italia.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

In sassari there’s not too much cultural things just duomo.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Sassari in the future?

If you wanna go to sassari firstly try to find apartment too much time before and don’t eat out too much because it’s not cheap for students and If you’re Turkish don’t eat their kebabs because unfortunately it’s not a real kebab(döner)
