What is it like to live in Saarbrücken? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Saarbrucken is a City for students. It´s not very big, but there a many possibilities to do sports, meet some friends or relax in your freetime. Living in Saarbrucken means nice Restaurants and a safe area. There are nice places for Party´s. In summer also the "Staden" means a lot of fun and nice people.

What is the student lifestyle like in Saarbrücken?

All Universities in Saarbrucken are not far away from the City. The number of bars and Clubs are high.

How much does it cost to live in Saarbrücken?

For living you can expect about 250-300 euros in the centre of Saarbrucken. There is a big range of shared flats with a lot of students

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Saarbrücken? Is there any advice you can give?

I think it´s not difficult because every University offers a lot of activities to meet other students. The people in Saarbrucken are helpful as well as politely.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The range of Restaurants is awesome. There are a lot of vegan Restaurants as well as fast Food Restaurants for people who like burger...

What places would you recommend visiting in Saarbrücken?

The "Hochseilgarten" is a nice place to improve coordination and trust in people.

The "Staden" is a nice place in summer. The "Saarbrücker Schloss" a nice place to sit down and relax some hours.

Is it good to eat out in Saarbrücken? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It definately is. There are nice Restaurants. My favourite spot is the "oishii" Restaurant in the Center of saarbrucken. It´s chinese Food, especially Sushi.

Is the nightlife good in Saarbrücken? Where is good to go?

The Club "seven" and the Club "blau" are my favourite ones.

What advice would you give future students heading to Saarbrücken?

You have to expect not a big City and you´ll like the beautiful places. You can do a lot of Sports and meet nice people.
