My Amazing Erasmus Experience in Riga: An Italian Girl’s Story

Ciao! This autumn semester in Riga has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. As an Italian girl on Erasmus, I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived, but now I can say it was the best decision ever. Riga is so special, with its stunning Old Town, cozy cafes, and the best student life I’ve ever seen.

One big part of my experience was the Riga Vibes student community (https://rigastudent.com/). They really made a difference for me. They organized so many events, parties, and even trips! Thanks to them, I met so many new friends from all over the world. There was always something to do, and every weekend felt like a new adventure. I still remember the international nights and themed parties—such good vibes!

But it wasn’t all easy. At the beginning of the semester, I got scammed for my deposit on an apartment. It was such a terrible moment, and I didn’t know what to do. Luckily, Riga Vibes helped me a lot. They supported me, and thanks to their advice, I managed to get my deposit back! I will never forget how kind and helpful they were.

Now everything is perfect. I found a new apartment through Riga Vibes, and I’m sharing it with some lovely girls I met here. It feels like home, and I’m so happy with how everything turned out.

Riga has given me so much this semester—new friends, unforgettable memories, and a lot of fun. If you’re thinking about Erasmus here, I can only say do it! And don’t forget to check out Riga Vibes; they made my experience so much better.
