What is it like to live in Riga? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Riga, Latvia’s capital, is set on the Baltic Sea at the mouth of the River Daugava.
Yes,I will definately recommend this place.
Riga is considered a cultural center and is home to many museums and concert halls. The city is also known for its wooden buildings and one more thing you will enjoy the weather.

What is the student lifestyle like in Riga?

Student lifestyle is good here.Riga is not too much expensive that's why it is easy to afford which make lifestyle of student quiet comfortable.

How much does it cost to live in Riga?

It cost almost 500 euros per month including every basic things except study fees.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Riga? Is there any advice you can give?

In Riga accomodation facilities are good. You can find varieties of apartment in Riga at relevent cost.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can find varieties of food here. Every European,Asian, American every food items are easily available at store.
Furthermore,My favourite dish is meat ,fish,potatoes

What places would you recommend visiting in Riga?

There are so many places to visit in Riga. Like- Saint Peter chrch, Freedom monuments,House ofblack heads, beautiful old town city,and there are other cities like sigulda ,jurmala which is also famous for the natural beauties.

Is it good to eat out in Riga? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I think yes, it is good to eat in cafe , restaurants in Riga because they provide good food and everything is healthy and service is also quiet impressive.

Is the nightlife good in Riga? Where is good to go?

Nighlife of Riga is awesome. Old town is famous for the nightlife because there are a lot of restaurant bars which are doing really good at night and small events make nightlife more interesting.

What advice would you give future students heading to Riga?

From my own experience,you can bring warm clothes and learn language beacause here is the main barrier is language.
