As an Erasmus student in Riga, I had an amazing time that was made even better by the great apartment I rented through Pinecone Properties. Finding a good place to live in a new city can be stressful, but my apartment was clean, fully furnished, and in a great location.

Riga itself is a fantastic city to explore. The architecture is stunning, with a mix of Gothic and modern styles.

One of the things I loved about Riga was the weather. While it can be a bit cold in the winter,  the summers are warm and pleasant, perfect for outdoor activities and exploring the city.

The food in Riga was another highlight. There are so many great places to eat, from cozy cafes to trendy restaurants. I particularly enjoyed trying traditional Latvian dishes like grey peas and bacon, and the pastries were great !

The nightlife in Riga is also fantastic. There are plenty of bars, clubs, and party spots to check out. Whether you’re into dancing the night away or just chilling with friends over some drinks, Riga has something for everyone. The student community is very active, and I made a lot of new friends at various student parties and events.

There’s so much to see and do in Riga. I loved visiting the historic Riga Castle, relaxing in the city’s parks, and exploring the Central Market. There are also tons of museums, galleries, and theaters, so there’s always something interesting happening.
