Experience in Riga, Latvia, by Khondamiir
What is it like to live in Riga? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Well, to be honest weather in Riga is so changeable especially in autumn and winter. In winter it's so cold. I would recommend Riga for the second semester because it will be in spring and a bit of summer, so weather will be more warm and joyful.
The city is not so big, the most entertaining places are in the city center which is called "Old Riga". There are also places which are must visit for example Sigulda Jurmala.
What is the student lifestyle like in Riga?
The student life is good enough especially for Erasmus student, 2-3 days to study and in others days you are free to visit some places or other cities. For example in my ISMA university the study isn't so hard. I study 4 days in one week.

So, where I am living in 1 Home student hotel it costs 200 € for a one person in double-room. It includes all bills and wi-Fi. For eating it will takes around 250-350 € (it's for mine expenses) and lastly, if like nightlife extra money need to be spent.
