The city has nothing, people have no soul and they are not friendly. People don't even have moral values. I'm sorry, but it is like this.

Not so good. Only alcohol is cheap.

300 euros every month with shared flat.

Not at all.

Nothing special, just some beaches.

Not at all.
What advice would you give future students heading to Riga?
No, I don't recommend this city, people don't know English and they don't want to speak either.

I understand you could not be happy about the place but could you give more argumentative and concrete opinions about the questions than "no" to everything? it's even hard to discuss with you and I also guess nobody forced you to go to Riga, so try to be more positive aout your life and expectations :)
