What is it like to live in Riga? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Riga is my favorite city of all times, not only because of beautiful architecture and nature, but because of its unique lifestyle and attitude.

What is the student lifestyle like in Riga?

Every student can fine something for its interests, bars, nightclubs, movie theaters, art galleries, live show concerts etc.

How much does it cost to live in Riga?

Riga center is pretty expensive, but living a little further from center makes life cheaper

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Riga? Is there any advice you can give?

If you have a lot of money, nothing is difficult, but I would advice to search accommodations through Latvian web pages, like ss.lv

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is tasty, healthy and looks great. My favorite dish depends of mood, but probably one of the top ones is karbonade (chicken or pork meat)

What places would you recommend visiting in Riga?

Old Riga, Lido, Mezaparks

Is it good to eat out in Riga? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I love sushi bars and Lido that offers Latvian national cuisine

Is the nightlife good in Riga? Where is good to go?

Nightlife is absolutely awesome in Riga, I prefer Kalku varti, Sapni un kokteili

What advice would you give future students heading to Riga?

don't be afraid to visit Riga, make the best memories ever!!!
