Why did you choose to go to Riga, Latvia?

Becouse of the school, here in Riga have in Art Academy specialization of book design which is my interest.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

What is the student lifestyle like in Riga?

I think it depends on each Uni but our was very good in this. In first two month was alsmost every week some party in school, each department have some party for knowing new students and also erazmus students. And also we had a some special erazmus parties :)

Would you recommend the city and the University of Riga to other students?

Of course, people here are so kind and hepful. It is one of the most pleasant places i´ve ever been.

What is the food like?

Very good and tasty :)

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Riga?

i came to Riga one week before school starts and i try to find a flat. It was a bit hard but i finaly find something :)

How much does it cost to live in Riga?

150E rent, 20E energy every month and about 180-200E other expenditure.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language is for me impossible to learn.. :D i learned some important words. My Uni don´t have language course of Latvian language. But i think you really don´t need it, almost everybody speaks english, and definitely everybody speaks russian. If you know russian you have no problem :)

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Riga from your city?

easies is with plane, but cheapest way is with bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Riga?
