Why did you choose to go to Riga, Latvia?

Because it's cheaper than in France. I didn't know this city and this country before. It's very different from France. The university of Economy is in the top 5 of the Times ranking.

I receive different scholarship from the French state, the Erasmus organization, the region where I study in France.

What is the student lifestyle like in Riga?

The student lifestyle is cool, not a lot of work so we can enjoy our free time visiting, partying,...

Would you recommend the city and the University of Riga to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

Normal food I would like to say but the "local food" is tasty.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Riga?

No because I found it on Facebook.

How much does it cost to live in Riga?

Per month something like between 300€ and 400€.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I don't know because I don't try to learn it but it seems to be a little bit hard.

Yes there are some Latvian and Russian courses available at the faculty.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Riga from your city?

Plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Riga?

Most of the Erasmus student go to the old town! But in my opinion you also have to experience some very good place outside the old town!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Several museums, the cities around Riga and the country side.
