Why did you choose to go to Riga, Latvia?

Because I really wanted to go through an amazing experience in a country which was extremely different from my own.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I lived there six month. Riga is not that expensive, I used my scholarship in order to support my studies. My rent was 100 lats all included, so the rent was cheap.

What is the student lifestyle like in Riga?

The student lifestyle is slightly different from my lifestyle but I liked it. People usually drink and dance. All the same like London.

What is the food like?

Food like shit, food tastes shit!!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Riga?

Not at all. I found my room when I was in Riga. It wasn't that difficult. I used Facebook and I tracked it down easily!!!

How much does it cost to live in Riga?

Not much, cigarettes are cheap!!!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I don't know Latvian, I spoke English all the time, but not latvian at all

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Riga from your city?

By air and it is expensive!!!!

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Riga?

There are many club and disco in Riga and there you can dring, dance and bang.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Jurmala !!!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Riga in the future?

You gotta be strong to live there, the temperature is awfully cold!!!
