Why did you choose to go to Riga, Latvia?

Because, this place is quite and great view of sea. People are like original europeans and cold blooded. They like their personality too much . The reason of choice was my university where i study now

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I don’t get scholarship. Because i didn’t get any information about this.Because this kinds of stuff is not likely open to everyone.

What is the student lifestyle like in Riga?

Busy life with full of study . But you get problems with working and earning good amount of money. Because there is almost no job for students who have limits on working. Local vacancies is only 120 work time . Fortunately, here you can find McDonalds and ITN to work .

Would you recommend the city and the University of Riga to other students?

I can if they are like locals cold blooded and love himself. Yeah being friend with someone is easy but most of them want from you that you know their language.

What is the food like?

Most of them pork food and some sweets and sea food also. There you can find many places to eat and different food like chinese or Uzbek food . The problem can be for muslims because they eat halal beef so they can face problem with finding halal meat.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Riga?

Yeah , this is next problem that most of students face . I also firstly found a place from very far away from university. I asked for university dormitory but i got rejection at the beginning. But if you have more money you can live where you want . Everything is up to your budget

How much does it cost to live in Riga?

It is different. I can divide it into three like : econom , about 300 - 400 euros most part for rent ; medium 500- 600euros for going out parties and having fun. 600 and over for luxury life and luxury rental condition.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yeah, available and easy to learn if you have abilities of learning languages. I am polyglot so it is easy for me but i always take it prolonged because of my laziness

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Riga from your city?

There are some ways i can take like flying or driving but the better one is flying and it is not cheap

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Riga?

There are a lot of place to go . If someone comes here he found out it by himself.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Riga?

I think most are good . I don’t have time to count all of them

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Museum and theatre

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Riga in the future?

I think i don’t have but it would be better for them to be ready for cold weather and attention . Additionally, here is more elder people live .
