What is the student lifestyle like in Pristina?

Studying and living in Pristina is really fun, my advice to strangers would be : Don’t judge Pristina at the first sight, try to spend more time meeting new people and let them guide about Pristina, within a month or less you will like it.

How much does it cost to live in Pristina?

Students here in Pristina enjoy the conditions, though for our standard it’s a bit expensive but still some students manage to cover all of their costs by working. Most of the students live in dormitory which is near the University campus. After finishing lecturers or learning you can see noisy and happy streets and cafes full of students. National library of Kosovo also is full of students, you can notice the spirit of young people wanting to design their future.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Pristina? Is there any advice you can give?

Well, finding accommodation is not that easy, for students there are dormitories but if you decide to rent a flat I guess it might be a little expensive 350 to 400 euros. Or you can have a cheaper one 200 euros but the conditions might not be good. If already someone decides to come in Prishtina he\she better should get advices from peope living here.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

About eating in Pristina… I guess it depends what kind of food do you like best. Here are many options eating healthy and cheap.

The food here is imported mostly from Europe but its also made in Kosova, students here mostly eat burgers or sandwiches (because it doesn’t cost that much). 6. My favourite dish is “Mexicana”.

What advice would you give future students headed to Pristina?

Pristina is a nice city, I already mentioned above that specially for the young people it is really attractive. Its not that noisy and everywhere you go you can see streets dominated by young people. I’ve been dealing with some internationals living here, and all of them liked the way of life in here, some of them even decided to spend the rest of their lives in Pristina. I definitely would like to recommend it to whoever wants to visit it, it's just nice experiencing it.
