What is it like to live in Poznan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Poznan is a beautiful place which I visit quite often. I would love to live there but is is not financially possible and the money value is quite bad there (which is also why foreginers come). The place is truly amazing and if your thinking about going, then do it! Polish people are friendly and very helpful. The buildings there are amazing too. (Very old) lots of history to discover as well.

What is the student lifestyle like in Poznan?

It's very hard for a student to live there as money is very tight and it is very difficult to get a decent part-time job. Poznan is a big student city and there are many places in town to have a good time.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is one of my favourite things. Polish food is very tasty: dumplings, cabbage, gherkins, steak tartare, herrings... There are so many that I could go on all day.

What places would you recommend visiting in Poznan?

I recommend going to Manekin, for me, the best restaurant. Besides, I recommend visiting museums, the town square, the lakes, the parks... Everything, actually.

It is good and the best places are in the town square.

Alligator, in the main square, is a very popular place to go. Nightlife is truly amazing there and beers are very good too.
