What is it like to live in Poznan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Poznań is a student city with good communication/transport and nice places for party. It is really cheap place especially for everyone who has euro currrency:) It is beutiful city which I really love to live in.

What is the student lifestyle like in Poznan?

Student lifestyle in Poznań is really nice;) Study day, party night. During weekends the city center is full of young people and party.

How much does it cost to live in Poznan?

it is not really expensive. You can find a room in a flat with other students (quite good condition) about 500 złoty (about 125 euro). The dinner price is about 10 złoty (2,5euro) and beer is about 7 złoty (0,5 liter).

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Poznan? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not really difficult. For Erasmus I think that most of our Universities promiss a place in student house. But condition of student houses is mostly not prerfect. If you have opportunity is better to find something other.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

food is nice:) Polish food is a little bit different. You really should try pierogi and soups.

What places would you recommend visiting in Poznan?

you should deffinitely visit everything from the guide, but I reccomend also visit the city center in your own way. It is nice to just take a walk there so you can find many interesting things by yourself.

Is it good to eat out in Poznan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

the cheapest and best is to eat in milk bars in Poznań "bar mleczny". You can find it fopr example on Podgórna street 2.

Is the nightlife good in Poznan? Where is good to go?

ou should always check the city center and the old squere. There are many places there

What advice would you give future students heading to Poznan?

come here and have fun. Erasmuses are always glad that they choose Poznań.
